With almost 50 years devoted to the path of martial arts, Shihan John Duggan has earned a revered place as a 5-time Hall of Fame inductee and an esteemed ambassador of Traditional Japanese Martial Arts in the Western world. Shihan John’s journey has been marked by relentless dedication and profound respect for the art. Beyond the competitive arena, his commitment to the sharing of martial arts knowledge led him across continents, teaching and inspiring students through international seminars and gatherings. Today, Shihan John stands among the principal instructors within his organization, guiding practitioners in Europe, America, and South Africa. His hands have graded countless black belts, nurturing the spirit and skills of the next generation. Residing in Cashel, Ireland, he continues to preserve and promote the art of Traditional Japanese Ju-Jitsu, instilling its values in his students and community. Shihan John is the Chief instructor of Kyusho Jitsu Ireland. He also holds one of five director seats of The  International Kempo Ju-Jitsu Union. Shihan John holds the following martial arts qualifications: Shichidan (8th Degree Black Belt)  in Kempo Ju-Jitsu, Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Judo, 1st Degree Filipino Martial Arts, 2nd Kyu Brown Belt Kobujutsu and Advance Master level in Kyusho Jitsu. His enduring commitment is a testament to the lifelong path of the martial artist: disciplined, humble, and dedicated to the art’s honorable tradition.
